Presenting STEM to young people and the public

What's more terrifying than public speaking?
What if you're a university researcher having to communicate a specialist subject - like science, technology, engineering, or maths (STEM) - and your "public" is a room full of unpredictable and brutally honest teenagers?

Increasingly university students and researchers in STEM subjects are being encouraged to reach out to engage the public in their research. " Presenting STEM to young people and the public " is a new training course designed specifically to give researchers the skills and confidence to reveal the wonder and excitement of their research to audiences during public presentations.

If you are interested in finding out more about presenting to young people you can read this article - " Top ten mistakes made by researchers when presenting to young people".
